About the retreat
Spend a relaxing summers day surrounded by nature in the peaceful setting of Monkton Nature Reserve. Through yoga, meditation, nature walks, reflection, and deep rest, you'll be invited to slow down, nourish your soul, and reconnect with your inner serenity.
Retreat programme | morning
🌸 Welcome & gentle morning yoga
Begin the day with a calming Hatha yoga practice designed to awaken the body gently, release tension, and help you arrive fully in the present moment.
✨ Guided Reiki meditation
Settle into stillness with a deeply relaxing guided meditation infused with Reiki
energy, creating space for relaxation,
healing, and inner balance.
🌿 Mindfulness nature walk
Enjoy a mindful walk through the nature reserve, taking in the beauty of the natural surroundings and allowing your senses to reconnect with the simple rhythms of nature.

🥗 Lunch break
Take time to nourish yourself and relax at the Cabin Cafe or picnic areas within the nature reserve.
📖 Nature journaling & reflection
Find your own peaceful spot within the
reserve to sit quietly with nature. Through gentle journaling prompts, you'll be
invited to reflect, listen inwardly, and
explore whatever arises for you in the moment.
✨Yoga Nidra & mini sound bath
The retreat concludes with the profound rest of Yoga Nidra, accompanied by a
soothing sound meditation to help quiet the mind, relax the nervous
system, and leave you feeling deeply restored.
🌿Closing and free time
From 2.30pm you will have free time to
explore the rest of the nature reserve, the museum, there pre-loved bookshop and gift shop at your own lesuire. The nature
reserve closes at 4.00pm

What to bring
Please bring your own yoga mat, eye
pillow or eye mask, and a journal or notebook for reflection and journaling.
Yoga blankets and blocks will be provided.
Although it is summer, it can still feel quite cool when relaxing during meditation, Yoga Nidra, and the sound bath. For your comfort, you may wish to bring warm socks and an extra layer such as a jumper or cardigan.
As part of the retreat includes a mindful walk around the nature reserve, please wear suitable footwear. The paths can be uneven and may be muddy in places if there has been recent rain.
You may wish to bring a light lunch and sit in the picnic area or enjoy a light snack in the cabin cafe.
Meeting point on arrival
We will meet you all at reception and walk to the dome together. Please insure that you arrive at reception by 10.20am

Created for those craving a gentler pace, these two-hour mini retreats offer a nurturing space to slow down, reconnect and deeply relax. Each retreat explores a different theme through a carefully curated blend of gentle yoga, meditation, mini sound baths, Reiki, and gentle spiritual practices, creating an experience that nourishes the mind, body, and spirit.
Weather you're seeking relaxation, inner stillness or a deeper sense of connection, you're invited to come
exactly as you are — no experience is needed.
